WHY TURKEY

Turkey is the country with the most JCI (Joint Commission International) accredited hospitals and health institutions in the world.

  • In total, 43 hospitals have JCI accreditation. 29 of these hospitals are in Istanbul, 4 in Izmir, 4 in Ankara, 3 in Adana, 2 in Bursa, and 1 in Antalya.

 

  • There are 1096 health institutions certified by the Ministry of Health (health tourism authorization certificate) and 170 intermediary institutions in Turkey.

  • As a health destination in the world, Turkey is among the top 5 countries.
     

  • As it is a bridge between Europe and Asia, it is very easy to reach from anywhere in the world.
     

  • It is the country where the treatment costs are more economical among the countries that provide high standards of health care.

 

  • Turkey ranks first in Europe and seventh in the world in terms of thermal resources, and there are 190 thermal springs in 46 provinces.
